Packets include Entry to ALL Events both days of the Con Aug 8 & 9, 2015 including; 2 Days of Workshops(Phantom related), Discussion Groups/Panels, Special Guest Meet & Greets(Authors, Actors, etc), Open Mic Night Plus Phantom Performances, Masquerade Ball(Includes Complimentary Finger Foods & Non-Alcoholic Drinks, Cash Bar & Photographer), Hospitality Room(Full Access to Social Hours w/Complimentary Snacks & Drinks), Access to Vendor Room, A PhantomCon Tote Bag(Filled w/Goodies from Vendors etc) & PhantomCon Badge! When you purchase your package you will have the option of adding a PhantomCon TShirt for $15 more or a Vendor Space for $25(Vendor price will go up as well during the year plus those that pay early will get Prime Space. Electrical outlets are not guaranteed)
*It is recommended that nothing dangerous be sold or displayed. This includes swords on costumes etc. Use common sense please!
*NON-REFUNDABLE Packets go on sale starting July 20th,2014 *Packets are only refunded if there is an Act of God preventing the Convention from happening which would release us from the Hotel’s contract.

Hi Everyone- To avoid confusion when booking your hotel stay at the Holiday Inn you can ask to speak to Courtney directly, however, she has spoke to her staff and hopefully there shouldn’t be anymore issues. Remember, you must call the hotel directly 1-804-520-5880 since these rooms & special rates are NOT available online. Ask for the PhantomCon room rate. Currently you can book rooms Fri Aug 7 thru Mon Aug 10. However, Courtney can help you if you need to stay longer. I know alot of you from out of town and even the U.S. have already bought registration packets but haven’t reserved your room. Go ahead and book now as rooms are filling up fast. They will not charge your card till you check in. If you are trying to find a cheaper hotel or you live in the area I would highly suggest staying at the Holiday Inn where all the events will take place for various reasons including if you plan to drink to extra socializing in lobby to having a room to go to to change for the ball etc. Yes, we will have a hospitality room but its only intended to grab a snack or drink not all PhantomCon guests can be in there at the same time so having a room to go to and relax in between events etc will be nice.

PhantomCon 2015 Masquerade

Costumes!!!!!!! - Wearing a costume even outside of the Masquerade Ball is encouraged. We are not trying to be another Comicon but I think wearing costumes helps set the mood. There will be planted actors in the crowd as well. As far as masks go(do not wear masks anywhere near the bedrooms/hallways or the front desk area) we don’t want to scare anyone. Masks are allowed in the Vendor Rooms/Workshop Area/ Ballroom and Hallway leading to these areas(however they must reveal at least 1/3 of your face). Weapons are NOT allowed(accept for fake swords…not sharp points or small knives) No guns of any kind are allowed regardless if they are a toy. There will be a security bag/badge checkpoint area before proceeding to these rooms so if you don’t want anything taken etc don’t bring it. We want everyone to feel safe! If there is any questions or comments feel free to share below.
ps. A few people had asked if there was a dress code as far as characters etc. Although no one will be turned away please don’t show up at the ball in Jeans/TShirt….it will kill the mood really fast. If you don’t want to dress as a character at least wear a nice dress/suit. Although this is a Phantom related event it might be kind of boring to see everyone dressed as Christine/Phantom so we encourage everyone to think outside the box and yes you can dress as characters from other Gothic books etc. We will be having a costume contest during the Ball.
